Large Underfed hearth combustion grate composed of elements in Steel-Chrome alloy with a Chromium content of 27-30%, (code 1.4777) for solid fuels with a water content of 30%.
Grid elements designed to operate up to 1,100° C in an oxidizing atmosphere. The grill support structure is air-cooled to reduce its temperature avoiding the risk of ash melting and avoiding deformations.
The shape of the longitudinal distribution channel without bottlenecks or impediments favors the delivery of the mixture over the entire surface.
Furthermore, the distribution of air on all sides of the grill allows uniform combustion and less production of unburnt.
The combustion air passage holes are sized according to the average particle size of the mixture, drastically reducing the eventual fall of fuel in the air distribution channels during transient regimes.
The fuel is introduced into the combustion chamber by an auger equipped with a motor variation and positioned under the hearth. The fuel is pushed upwards continuously by the auger itself and is distributed on the surface of the grid.
