Large volume combustion chamber, suitable for the combustion of solid fuels with variable size and heterogeneous water content and sized to maintain the combustion temperature of 850-950 ° C (excluding transient regimes)
The walls of the combustion chamber are equipped with a water jacket.
The passage of water in the walls allows you to immediately absorb any excess heat produced by combustion and (if necessary) use it as preheating of the combustion air.
The advantages of the system are many.
-High efficiency in heat exchange : The heating of the fluid starts directly in the combustion chamber where the temperature reaches 950 ° C and therefore the ∆t between smoke and fluid is higher.
- Maintaining the temperature inside the combustion chamber stable and for a long period, for the benefit of the CO, which ends its combustion, the reception area for Denox insertion. Any excess combustion temperature is absorbed by the sealed tubes and directly transferred to the fluid.
- Total absence of thermal stress during ignition and modulation of the thermal regime and during the change of fuel from wet to dry.
